The Gold Medal-winning liquid inside Havana Club Selecci?n de Maestros remains the same as for the old Cuban Barrel Proof - as the name suggests, the casks have been hand-picked by the maestros roneros from the company's finest aged stocks.
The rums selected by the maestros roneros are finished in special casks chosen for their aromatic properties before being bottled at a higher strength than the standard range for a more intense, immediate flavour on the palate.
Must be paired with a fine Havana cigar, we personally really enjoy it with an Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure Deluxe or a Trinidad Vigia. | Havana Club 15 Year Old is a rare rum from our best reserves limited to 58 barrels per year. This final blend is elaborated with rum reserves that have been aged for at least 15 years in Cuba. Havana Club 15 Year Old is a rum which has been submitted to long and patient natural ageing periods. | A smoky, sweet Guatemalan rum from Zacapa, Edicion Negra has been finished in a combination of ex-bourbon and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. It is a fruity rum, with notes of chocolate, caramelised pineapple, raisins, dried apricots and barbecue smoke throughout the palate. | | |
