Born from the inspiration of a monk far ahead of his time, Maison Ruinart was founded on September 1st, 1729. Currently, the Maison produces and markets excellent wines, including Ruinart Rose. the Dom Ruinart and the Dom Ruinart La Reserve 1998.
Ruinart champagnes essentially feature the Chardonnay grapes that grow in the Côte de Blancs and the Montaigne de Reims: Avize, Le Mesnil, Sillery and other plots unanimously considered sanctuaries of this variety. It is a very early budding variety with a short maturation period. This Blanc de Blancs as the name indicates it is made of only white variety of grapes mainly composed of Chardonnay grapes.

Krug was created in 1843 by Johann-Joseph Krug, a German immigrant from Mainz. That became a producer of sparkling wine in Champagne and now has become one of the most iconic Champagne houses in the region.

The Maison Perrier-Jouët is characterized, since its inception in 1811, in its consistency of producing an unwavering style of champagne, established at number 28 of the mythical Avenue de Champagne in the town of Épernay. It is one of the classic Champagne producers.
