Gentle aromas of Seville oranges and walnut build into rich dark chocolate, sandalwood and spicy pepper. The palate initially offers notes of mint chocolate, walnuts and orange develop into Turkish delight and summer flowers. | | | A vibrant young Laphroaig whose maturation has been accelerated by ageing in quarter casks. This shows soft sweetness and a velvety feel when first tasted, then the intense peatiness so unique to Laphroaig comes bursting through. | One of our favorite whiskies, this has to be one of the most consistently excellent malt whiskies of the past 10 years.
